Daily Devotion - 1

Note:

For every daily devotion I made, I’ll just be uploading my script in each of these blogs. Honestly, this is just to keep track and possible to add-on to things that I realized after the video.

I haven’t actually programmed in the video thumbnail just yet, so a video link will suffice.

Good morning everyone!

For my devotion for today, it’s in Luke 2:32, 34-35 in NLT

This message resonated with me because looking back, there are moments in my faith where parts of myself are revealed in ways I didn’t expect. It’s amazing how the living truth will pierce through your heart, and let it be a great thing so that I, and we, can live within the truth.

As told in Matthew 10:34, Jesus didn’t come to bring peace but a sword. A sword that fights against sin that brings us away from God.

We should let God reveal unto us and see the deepest thought of our very heart and let the sword, the word of God, (as it was mentioned in Ephesians 6:17, and Hebrew 4:12), pierce our own soul. If we do, not only we will the truth but we let the Holy Spirit to move within us. Transforming us in ways we couldn’t imagine. Giving us the strength to do things we couldn’t imagine.

I, myself, can’t even imagine doing this, but here I am sharing my very devotion.

And we should do the same as we evangelize with others! Though many will oppose Him, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t. We have to take example of what Jesus did even until His death on the cross. Because to many, He will be a joy to them, but to others, may cause them to fall because of their sin. Because of the nature of the sword, it will cause divisions, but that’s okay. It’s never been our battle in the first place.

It’s through the works of the Holy Spirit that will touch their very hearts. But it’s our job as Christians to preach and share the good news to all nations of the world. Even against opposition.

Let the word, the truth, pierce through our hearts and to many who needs it.

My goodness! Truly the Holy Spirit was moving. This is my first time posting, and I pray many more to come. Maybe it won’t be this big, but that’s okay!

I just have been busy with ministry as a technician, working as a code instructor, and finishing up college. Would love to keep doing this more and more. I always wanted to do this, but never had the courage until this morning.

Thank you for listening, and have a good day!
