Good morning everyone!

For my daily devotion, the message is in Luke 3:8-9 NLT version.

I remembered when I was first being baptized back a few years ago, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I felt like I wasn’t worthy enough to be baptized. But very close pastor told me how there are far worst people who have been baptized have been repented And honestly, during that year, you can truly tell that I was changed by the way I live through the fruits it yield.

And so, everyday we should see within our hearts if we’ve truly repented. And we will see that by the way we live. It doesn’t matter who we were, but the person who we are right now. Because as told in Matthew 7:20, you will them by their fruits.

Therefore, in order to have good fruit, we should prove by the way we live that we have repented of our sins and turned to God. We have to see if the roots of our tree produce such fruit, and likewise, if our way of life demonstrates the fruits in Galatians 5:22 due to being filled by the Spirit.

But understand, that we are not perfect and we may fall and stumble. Even after my baptism, there were a lot of stumbling blocks. Remember, it’s through the transformation of the Holy Spirit that will allow such fruit to blossom. It’s only through repentance that we allow the Spirit to move within our lives. Allowing us to grow these fruits and to be more Christ-like. Not through us, but through Jesus Christ.

Thank you for listening, and if you have any thoughts, make sure to comment and let’s encourage one another!

Have a good day! God bless you!
